UrbanPlan – The City Planners of Tomorrow

Planning and implementing real estate and neighborhood projects is an exciting process. At the UrbanPlan project day, young people learn about the different steps of planning a neighborhood and get to know various professional fields in the industry.

The Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) simulation game is geared towards high school and university students and addresses the fields of Geography and Economics. Our younger generation’s creative and innovative ideas are crucial for creating a vibrant, modern and sustainable city for the future. Therefore, the UrbanPlan simulation game provides insights into the various professional fields within the real estate industry using realistic urban development questions.

YAEZ has co-developed the simulation game and has implemented the learning sessions on-site for over 7 years with its team members who host and facilitate the 5-hour simulation game. Together, the groups learn more about teamwork and working on projects together. Volunteers from the real estate industry support the participants in their projects and give helpful advice.
